Pakistan will be led by Babar Azam in the ICC T20 World Cup.

Fakhar Zaman, who performed poorly at the Asia Cup, has been moved to the reserve list. The group also includes Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, Asif Ali, Khushdil Shah, and others in addition to test opener Shan Masood.

Pakistan revealed its lineup for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup on Thursday. The team led by Babar Azam resembles the Asia Cup team from recently quite a bit. After Pakistan’s Asia Cup loss to Sri Lanka, many ex-cricketers were rooting for veteran batter Shoaib Malik to be called back.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, a top paceman, has been added to the squad along with Shadab Khan, Babar’s successor. With players like Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Hasnain selected alongside Afridi, Pakistan has an interesting fast bowling unit. In the reserves, Shahnawaz Dahani has been listed.

Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris, and Shahnawaz Dahani are the reserves.
