Australia will be without Mitchell Marsh, Mitchell Starc, and Marcus Stoinis for the three T20 International matches against India.

Mitchell Marsh, Mitchell Starc, and Marcus Stoinis will not be available for Australia during the three-match T20 International tour of India owing to injuries, which were ruled out for the group on Wednesday. Starc has been dealing with a knee problem, but Marsh and Stoinis are out with ankle and side problems, respectively. Despite the injuries being minor, Cricket Australia decided not to risk the players because the T20 World Cup will be contested at home starting next month, according to cricket.com.au.

Given that David Warner has already been rested for the tour, the most recent development will further deplete the Australian team.

Starc, Marsh, and Stoinis have been replaced by Nathan Ellis, Daniel Sams, and Sean Abbott by the Australian selection committee.

Marsh and Stoinis were out for the entire ODI series against Zimbabwe and New Zealand due to injuries, but Starc was just recently removed after a diagnostic on his knee on Wednesday.

Three Twenty20 matches between Australia and the host nation of India will take place at Mohali, Nagpur, and Hyderabad between September 20 and September 25.

Australia will play the T20 series against the West Indies and England in the run-up to the T20 World Cup after their quick trip to India.
