IND against SL, 2nd T20I: Is rain going to be a factor in Dharamsala's HPCA Stadium?

Highlight

The second Twenty20 International between India and Sri Lanka will be played at the HPCA Cricket Stadium.

Dharamsala is expected to be hit by rain in the afternoon and evening hours today.

The game may be postponed if the outfield is too wet.

Dharamsala’s HPCA Cricket Stadium hosts India’s second T20I match against Sri Lanka.

Rohit Sharma’s reign as captain of the Indian team has been a success thus far. Having won their last 10 T20Is, the side will be hoping to extend that streak when they meet Sri Lanka in Dharamsala on Saturday. At the first T20I, India defeated Sri Lanka by an innings and 62 runs in Lucknow. The threat of thunderstorms and light showers in Dharamsala could derail India’s chances of clinching yet another T20I series.

According to Accuweather, Dharamsala is expected to be hit by rain in the afternoon and evening. Weather-related outfield delays are another possibility.

There is a chance that the temperature will range from 4 to 8 degrees. In addition, the weather forecast suggests that the rain will end by the time the match begins. However, a few afternoon showers are possible.

Additionally, Accuweather predicts cloud cover of 82%, with 81% of precipitation.

The Indian cricket team is on the verge of joining Pakistan’s top T20I squad.

It would be an incredible achievement for India if they beat Sri Lanka in their second Twenty20 International to become only the second side after Pakistan to reach 100 Twenty20 victories.

After 189 T20 Internationals, Pakistan has a 117-win record (62.43 win percentage).

India, on the other side, has a victory percentage of 64.97 after 99 victories in 157 T20Is.
