Hardik Pandya
With the comment "Happy 3 years to us baby," Hardik posted a photo of himself and Natasa to Instagram.

After getting engaged on a cruise on New Year’s Day, 2020, Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic will wed in the middle of the COVID-19 quarantine.

For his fiancee, Natasa Stankovic, India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya sent a sweet post on the couple’s third engagement anniversary. Hardik and Natasa, who are to wed during the COVID-19 quarantine, got engaged on a trip on January 1, 2020. A son, whom they named Agastya, was born to the happy couple later that year. On Sunday, the pair celebrated their third year of engagement by posting a photo of themselves together with the remark, “Happy 3 years to us baby.”

Specifically, beginning on January 3, Hardik will serve as captain for India in a three-game Twenty20 International series against Sri Lanka.

Against Sri Lanka, he was promoted to vice-captain in one-day internationals and captain of the Twenty20 squad. In the one-day internationals, Rohit Sharma will take the helm.

Hardik’s promotion to T20I captain, on top of his duties as Rohit’s deputy in ODIs, could be interpreted as a sign of the impending change in leadership for the team.

After India’s crushing loss to England in the T20 World Cup semi-finals, Pandya, who captained Gujarat Titans to an IPL title in the 2022 edition, was widely regarded as the next man in line to replace Rohit. Two uncapped pacers, Shivam Mavi and Mukesh Kumar have recently been added to the T20I squad, giving it a new appearance.

The BCCI news statement made no mention of whether Pandya’s position was permanent or temporary while Rohit recovered from a thumb injury.
