Naseem Shah
On day one of the second test against New Zealand, Naseem Shah picked up a wicket and celebrated with his team.

Naseem Shah took Tom Latham and Kane Williamson out of the game for Pakistan. Prior to being removed by Agha Salman, Devon Conway scored a century.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the second Test. On day one in Karachi, openers Tom Latham and Devon Conway took advantage of favorable conditions. After a slow start, the visitors got off to a roaring start with a century stand from Conway and Lathan.

But Pakistan’s pacer Naseem Shah came up with a brilliant delivery to end a partnership that seemed like it could balloon into a huge one.

Youngster swung the ball around the wicket and fired it at over 143 kph into Latham’s left hand.

Latham was unable to connect with the ball as it slammed into his pads, prompting the bowler and the rest of the Pakistan team to protest loudly.

Ultimately, Latham was out for 71 runs. Conway finished his century and put up another century stand with Kane Williamson before both of them were removed in quick succession.

Towards the close of the day, spinner Agha Salman took three wickets to help reduce New Zealand to 309 for 6.

The score in the first test was tied.
