Virat Kohli has struggled for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League this season.

Several experts have recommended rest for Virat Kohli because of his poor form, but Aakash Chopra has a different opinion.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 star Virat Kohli is under scrutiny for his dismal run of play. Despite two early-season scores in the 40s, he has struggled to put up any kind of run total. He’s been encouraged to take a sabbatical by experts and former cricketers, including former Team India head coach Ravi Shastri, after scoring just nine runs in his last three innings. Former India opener Aakash Chopra, on the other hand, believes Kohli should keep playing in order to regain his form and wonders “how can he score runs?” if he quits playing.

In a YouTube Q&A session, Chopra said: “What a tricky question. Everybody has an idea for a hypothesis. Not that Virat hasn’t gotten enough sleep. Obviously, he hasn’t been away from the game for three to four months, but he has missed a number of matches in recent weeks.”

“How will he get on base if he stops playing? In order to win a fight, you must engage in a middle-of-the-road conflict. The only way to succeed in running is to fall, get back up, and run again “he stated.

“The COVID was shut down for six months. Is there anything that has changed? My personal opinion is that he should continue to play “he came to a conclusion.

He hasn’t been in the best shape of his life even before this season. Since the Day-Night Test against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens in November of last year, he has not made a century in international or IPL cricket.

On Saturday, RCB will face table-topping Gujarat Titans.
