On the field, MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant had a lighthearted exchange that sent social media users into a tizzy.
While in Dubai for an Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Delhi Capitals skipper MS Dhoni, Rishabh Pant came up against his mentor. During the toss at the Dubai International Stadium, the chemistry between Dhoni and Pant was once again evident as the two wicketkeeper-batters stepped on the ground. Toss was won by Pant, who elected to bowl. However, when asked how it felt to go up against his mentor, DC captain Pant had a comedic response.
A lot to learn from him (MS Dhoni), but his focus is on the game at the moment, according to Pant.
Immediately following the coin toss, fans noticed the two having a good time together on the field, and they dubbed it “pure bliss.”

Dhoni and Pant’s relationship can be summed up in two words: Pure Bliss.
The Delhi Capitals made one change for match 50 of the ongoing season, leaving out Steve Smith in favor of young all-rounder Ripal Patel, who was given his first IPL call-up.
The other side, led by MS Dhoni, also made a few alterations from the last match. In place of Sam Curran and KM Asif, Dwayne Bravo and Deepak Chahar took their places, while Suresh Raina’s injury allowed Robin Uthappa to make his CSK debut.
After 12 games, the two teams are tied on points with 18 each. Due to their superior net run rate, CSK currently holds the lead in the IPL 2021 points standings.
